Monochrome Weekly Theme

The Marina

Photobucket

We live a stone throw away from the quay. Today, like most days except summer, it is cloudy and cold. The sun seems to play hide and seek - mostly hide - behind the gray clouds. That didn't stopped me and Ysabelle from enjoying our day out and breathing in the distinct scent of ocean breeze.

There's always a reason to smile, to enjoy each passing of time, to imagine best moments yet to come.

Hello Eng, first thing first, thanks for the add at facebook and those lovely comments left in some of my blogs.

I can swap your cooler weather for a moment. Heatwaves blow up my brain and make me lazy in blogging.

Great marina. Great meme called monochrome. Takes us back in our black and white days...

Smile..it's a thanksgiving gesture.

Oh, the cute girly is Ysabelle? I love how it is spelt.

That is absolutely meaningful...

It is so true... eventhough anything that happens, doesn't mean we can't enjoy :).

I wish we lived as close to the ocean (or any large body of water) as you. Whenever we visit places at which we can see the ocean or water activity, I enjoy looking at the docked boats. Your B&W picture is lovely.

You always give me good lines of word that I would like to keep in my mind.

When I look at the picture, it makes me want to go out to the ocean and enjoy the sea breeze.

It looks like a safe haven. Perhaps a different story when a gale is blowing! Lovely take on one of my favourite subjects. Sailing.

Hi Eng.

What a lovely monochrome.

Your quote reminded me of your comment in one of my post..it was about smile.

Indeed, there's always a reason to smile.

Simply beautiful, the marina is a delight to see. You're lucky to be living just a few steps to that scenic spot.

Hello Eng! I haven't gotten to blog-world regularly in a while. I'm sorry for that! This picture is beautiful! I'm so glad I was able to visit today. I miss breathing the salt air. I lived for two years in a coastal city, about 15 miles from the Atlantic. Ahhh, on cold days you could just taste the brine and it cleared your head. Lovely!
